Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2025 Poster Charlie Scott's

Christian Wendelboe has, over the last many years, designed and created the yearly poster for Copenhagen Jazz Festival at the venue Charlie Scott’s Bar. 

Charlie Scott’s is a local pub and venue in Copenhagen that, over the last 15 years, has fostered and promoted a big part of Denmark's jazz musicians as well as international artists, especially from New Orleans itself.

The 2025 poster is an abstract representation of a piano, where the surrounding colors and shapes that spring out from it represent the musical atmosphere the instrument can produce. The back part of the piano is inspired by the mosaic windows you see in some of Copenhagen's many old buildings and churches. 

It was always important to keep the whole aesthetic of the poster simple, even though it is an abstract art piece.
